Susan Zahir (B.A) is a Master's student at the University of Toronto in the Rehabilitation Sciences program. She graduated from York University where she compelted a Bachelor of Arts Honour's degree in Psychology. Her undergaduate research focused on using various educational modalities to improve mental health stigma in university student population. Now, working under the supervision of Dr. Marina Wasilewski at St. John's Rehab Program located in Toronto, her master’s research focuses on the psychosocial recovery of electrical burn survivors. She is interested in understanding how survivors and their caregivers adjust to and cope with daily life after an electrical injury.
