Yue Cao, PhD

Dr. Yue Cao is an Associate Professor in the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina. His research has focused on people with spinal cord injury since 2008 when he worked as a research assistant in the National Spinal Cord Injury Statistical Center. Since joining MUSC in 2014, his role has been to disseminate scholarship in spinal cord injury outcomes research through publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national/international conferences. He provides statistics support to the research team and mentorship support to our Postdoctoral fellows and students. In addition, he works on the development of externally funding applications and in meeting the deliverables for currently funded projects. He has been awarded three external grants, authored or co-authored 53 publications in peer reviewed journals and made 56 presentations in national or international academic conferences.
