Jan Struhar is a doctoral prepared physical therapist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) with extensive experience in cancer rehabilitation. He currently works as an Allied Health Oncology Clinical Educator within the Oncology Innovation Center. Jan’s passion and expertise for cancer focuses on improving care and maximizing quality of life for persons’ with a cancer diagnosis. Jan is currently a member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy and became a Board Certified Oncologic Physical Therapist in June of 2020. Jan is also a Co-Chair of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Oncology Transition and Continuity of Care Task Force.
