With a clinical background in Occupational Therapy, and a PhD with expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, I have served as the primary investigator on multiple studies that adopt non-pharmacological rehabilitation approaches. My program of research is focused on the non- pharmacological management of Parkinson’s disease, and on exploring the psychosocial support needs experienced by care-partners. With the goal of helping people remain engaged in meaningful occupations, I am specifically interested in gaining a deeper understanding of lived experience and developing/testing educational resources to better attend to the unmet psychosocial needs of both patients and care partners.
