Joanne Bickerton APRN.CNP, MSN, BSN, obtained her Master Degree from the University of Akron and has been a board-certified advanced practice provider since 2015. She has a background that includes working in both internal medicine and working in physical medicine and rehabilitation at one of our joint venture locations. Over the last two years Joanne has been involved in quality projects on the unit including her own personal project standardizing process for advanced providers on the inpatient rehab units. She is now working on a quality project with different sub-populations in the acute rehab setting to help reduce acute care transfer and improve home discharge. Joanne is also a member of the spinal cord and the medically complex committees at the Beachwood location - which includes working with the complex admissions of our cancer population.
