Clinical researcher and education specialist
Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, Dept of Health Services, County of Los Angeles
My background is in occupational therapy, patient education, patient safety, and clinical research. My work at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center focuses on professional development and health service research. I support clinical studies in occupational therapy, diabetes, limb preservation, and traumatic brain injury, the conditions that may affect cognition. I am a fan of the ECHO Model in professional development for clinicians and serve as the education director of the ECHO West Program at Charles R. Drew Univ of Medicine and Science where I am an assistant professor in the department of internal medicine. I believe that lifestyle should be integrated into all different clinical care.
