Roxana Garcia, MD, MPH is a physical medicine and rehabilitation resident at Stanford University. She graduated from University of California, San Francisco medical school. During medical school, she completed a Master of Public Health through University of California, Berkeley as part of a five-year MD/MPH track for students interested in health equity. She is the founder of Representation in Rehab, a trainee-driven organization devoted to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in physiatry. She has experience leading and expanding youth outreach programs and is interested in using education and community engaged research to advance health equity. Her research interests include headache, neuromodulation and pain management in medically underserved areas.
