Susan Peterson is a second-year Student Physical Therapist at the University of Findlay PTA to DPT Bridge Weekend College Program. Susan graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant in 1986 from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, MI and earned her bachelor's degree in 2015 from Western Michigan University in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a minor in Gerontology. She has over 36 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in Inpatient Rehabilitation and is currently enjoying working in both Outpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care settings. Susan has found great personal satisfaction in her career as a PTA and is looking forward to continuing onward as a DPT after graduating and completing clinical rotations in November 2023.Clinical areas of interest for Susan include treating orthopedic conditions of the shoulder, spine, and knee. She enjoys working with patients of all ages but especially pediatrics and geriatrics. Upon graduation, Susan would like to work in a school setting with children who have developmental delays.
