Kindell R. Schoffner, Psy.D: Dr. Schoffner received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology and has been practicing psychology in the greater Atlanta area for the past 18 years. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and a Pediatric Psychologist serving children and families within Rehabilitation Services at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. She also is the pediatric psychologist on the interdisciplinary team serving children with Differences in Sex Development at CHOA. Her clinical interests include emotional and behavior assessment, as well as individual and family intervention services for patients with anxiety, depression, externalizing behavioral problems, coping and adjustment to acute and chronic medical issues, and intensive rehabilitation needs including traumatic and acquired brain injuries, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, burns, and neurological disorders. She is also directly involved in developing policies and clinical pathways for behavioral health treatment at CHOA, as well as within several professional organizations.
