Flavia Andrade is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has completed a Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds a master's degree in Population Health from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a master's degree in Demography from CEDEPLAR in Brazil. Her work focuses on aging populations in Latin America and the Caribbean and social disparities in health in a global context.
