The author received her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is currently a second-year student in the Ph.D. program for rehabilitation sciences at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. Her clinical and research interests are communication disorders and dysphagia in both adult and pediatric populations.
