Jill Horbacewicz PT, MA, PhD is Chair of the Touro University Physical Therapy Department . She oversees two entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs, a Post-professional DPT program, and an accredited Orthopedic PT Residency program. Dr. Horbacewicz is also Special Assistant Vice President of Continuing Education across the University, coordinating the continuing education efforts of over 20 programs in New York, Nevada, and California. She serves Touro as Co-Chair of the School of Health Sciences Interprofessional Education Committee and Chair of the Presidential Faculty Excellence awards committee. Her research interests include interprofessional education and attainment of interprofessional competencies, and the personal and professional values of healthcare professionals and students. She has presented her research at national conferences and published on a variety of topics related to the education of health professions students and other topics related to physical therapy education and treatment Dr. Horbacewicz holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from New York University (NYU), a Master’s degree in Pathokinesiology from NYU and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from TUI University.
