Dr. Andri Andronikou is the Director of the Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (APHVF). She holds a BA in Social Work from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, an MSc in Gender and New Educational and Working Environments in the Information Society from the University of Aegean, a Diploma in Methods of Research Data Analysis in the Social and Educational Sciences from the University of the Aegean, and a PhD in Feminist empowering intervention in the crisis with groups of women survivors of domestic violence from Democritus University of Thrace. Dr. Andronikou is a post-doc researcher in Detecting the dimension of gender war crimes in women and girls you survived, during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 at the Democritus University of Thrace. Dr. Andronikou has numerous publications in the field of domestic violence and intimate partner violence and has collaborated in several social work programs and researches. From 2007 until 2019 Dr. Andronikou had been teaching at the Department of Social Work at the University of Frederick. In June 2019, Dr. Andronikou joined SPAVO holding the position of the Scientific Director.
