Amanda Ogletree, PT, DPT, NCS, CKTP completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from UT, Austin. She further pursued her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree and graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2015. She completed her fieldwork at different sites across the continuum including acute care, in-patient, transitional, and out-patient. She has been employed at BSWIR since 2015 and has experience treating patients with amputations, LVAD, Parkinson’s, SCI, TBI, medically complex, and stroke. She has certifications in LSVT, Kinesiotaping and has been trained in Neuro-IFRAH approach for introductory courses. In 2022 she sat for and passed her NCS certification exam. She has extended contributions to the field of Physical Therapy beyond patient treatment by actively participating in research projects and teaching continuing education classes as well as being a CI. When she is not working, she enjoys participating in Zumba and yoga classes, traveling, hiking, spending time with her kids, and trying new activities like glassblowing and aerial yoga.
