Beth is the Director of the Regional Stroke & Neurovascular Programs, and North & East GTA Stroke Network at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She is an occupational therapist with experience across the continuum of care in clinical, research, administrative, and academic settings across Ontario. In her current role she oversees the provision of regional and local specialized services in emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and interventional settings. Beth works in a complex matrixed environment with organizational, system, regional, and provincial leadership responsibilities. She works closely with system stakeholders to plan high quality cost-effective integrated care. Beth has a proven track record of strong partnerships and building innovative and new models of care in both rural and urban settings. She has developed provincial systems of care for specialized interventions, provincial and regional evaluation processes, and led the implementation of the bundled care pilot for stroke in Ontario. She is passionate about leadership, health systems, care integration, stroke and cognition, evaluation, interprofessional collaboration, and innovative models of care.
