Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham
Mary Bowman, OTR/L, C/NDT, LSVT-BIG is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy in the UAB School of Health Professions. She has 31 years of experience. In 2002, Mary joined the UAB CI Therapy Research Group with Edward Taub, PhD, working on multiple CI Therapy trials. She has applied all forms of upper extremity CI Therapy protocols in adult and pediatric clinical practice and is an instructor for the bi-annual CI Therapy Training Course at UAB. Mary is developing the UAB Neuroplasticity Clinical Lab for education, clinical services, and research for beneficial neuroplastic change interventions.
