Keena Patel is a second-year undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in psychobiology. She has a strong interest in research and is specifically drawn to neurology. Currently, she is performing clinical research under the direction of Dr. Steven C. Cramer. Her research focus is centered around the recovery of brain injuries, specifically stroke. The treatments include both sensory and motor testing in hopes of reducing impairment after stroke. Ms. Patel is also a part of other school organizations that are related to research, healthcare, and science education. Ms. Patel aspires to enter the medical field as a physician.
