Won-Seok Kim is a physiatrist and an associate professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He received a MD and PhD from Seoul National University College of Medicine. He started his clinical work as a physiatrist at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital in 2012. His major clinical field is neurorehabilitation and cardiac rehabilitation and he is the head of the rehabilitation center in the Gyeonggi Regional Cardiocerebrovascular Disease Center, which is designated by the Korean Government. He is a member of the Research Committee in the World Federation for NeuroRehabilitation (WFNR) and the steering committee of ICCPR (International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation) Program Certification (Western-Pacific Representation). He is also the CMO in Delvine, Inc., South Korea. His main research interest is to develop and apply new restorative interventions to patients with neurological diseases such as stroke and neurodegenerative diseases.
