Amanda Garr, Ph.D. is a Talent Acquisition Advisor at UL Solutions in Bentonville, AR. Her doctoral research focused on motivation and has equipped her to evaluate corporate recruitment processes to ensure effectiveness from application to onboarding using data-driven methods. She has been dedicated to the field of human resources since taking her first business course at Texas A&M University while pursuing a B.S. in Psychology. She continued her post-secondary education by pursuing a M.S. in Human Resource Management from Tarleton State University. After completing her master’s degree, she spent a year as a Human Resources Director before her passion for organizational development and change management led her to pursue a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University.
