Rehab Clinical Specialist Brain Injury

I've spent a lot of my career in geriatrics, in everything from nursing homes to community-based practice. I've seen the long-lasting effects of neurological conditions and, at the time I was seeing patients, there wasn't much rehab to be done for their neurological conditions or injuries due to the length of time that had passed. I wanted to start making a difference at the point of injury, and became certified in Neurorehabilitation as well as a certified brain injury specialist. I've now spent my time in acute care and inpatient rehab at a level 1 trauma center/comprehensive stroke center and can make an impact at the beginning of the road to recovery.
