Clara has been a Board Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist since 2012. She first worked at NYU Langone Health for 9 years as a senior physical therapist in the inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and outpatient departments. She then served as the Physical Therapy Supervisor at IECPN, a specialized neurosurgical center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for nine years. Currently she has returned to her role as a Senior II physical therapist at NYU Langone Health. Clara has presented in numerous national and international conferences and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Clara is an item-writer for the Neurologic Clinical Specialist Examination and a reviewer for the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy.
