Dr. Shao-Chih Hsu is a board-certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from Taiwan. She earned her MD with dual majors in Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Chang Gung University in Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2012. Currently, she serves as an Attending Physician at New Taipei City Hospital Tu Tucheng Branch and Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Hsu's clinical practice revolves around musculoskeletal pain management, pediatric rehabilitation for developmental delays, and sports medicine. Her expertise includes conducting soft tissue ultrasound examinations and administering ultrasound-guided injections. Moreover, she actively collaborates with high school-level sports teams. Since August 2022, Dr. Hsu has also been contributing as a research volunteer at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in the United States.
With research interests in Sports Medicine and Pediatric Rehabilitation, Dr. Hsu has published numerous articles in renowned medical journals such as Frontiers in Neurorobotics and the Taiwan Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has further showcased her research findings at notable medical conferences, including the Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the annual meeting of The Asian Society of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Hsu has received notable honors and awards that reflect her contributions to the medical field. In 2012, she was recognized as the Best Intern Doctor of Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. Furthermore, in 2018, she received the Special Award for her outstanding oral presentation at the Annual Meeting of the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
With licenses to practice Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taiwan, Dr. Hsu continues to make valuable contributions to patient care and medical research within her field of expertise
