Eric Dumais completed his BSc. in Kinesiology at Laurentian Univerity, Canada and immediately immersed himself in the startup world, conducting research and practicing as a registered kinesiologist (RKin). He has worked as an educator at world-class science centers and as a researcher in Northern Ontario. His research interests primarily focused on exploring neuromuscular recovery strategies in individuals post-stroke. The primary goal of his most recent research was to explore the use of goal-driven exercise strategies and to study the mechanisms that mediate neuroplastic changes in the human brain.
Eric is the Clinical Research Lead at IRegained Inc., a social impact MedTech Startup. This company has developed novel solutions to improve hand function in individuals who have suffered brain trauma or stroke and other musculoskeletal injuries impacting hand function.
