Renée Huth, PT, DPT, Ph.D., Advanced Credentialed Clinical Instructor, is an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy at Radford University Carilion (RUC). Her Ph.D. is in Public Health, emphasizing community health, cultural humility, and well-being. Her Ph.D. dissertation focused on intercultural and cross-cultural competence training and its effectiveness in mitigating physical therapy practice errors. Dr. Huth’s primary research and clinical interests are in diversity, equity, and inclusion; empathy; public health leadership; inter/intraprofessional education and collaboration; healthy aging; and program outcomes. Her teaching content includes the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy didactic psychosocial and professional development four-course series; and the preparation and three full-time clinical experience course series: AHPT 830, 870, and 890.
