Dr. Huson received a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Science and Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. He completed his transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. He is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinic Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). His prior academic experience includes adjunct work in the Ithaca College Physical Therapy department where his concentration was in orthopedics and evidence-based practice.
Dr. Huson's past and current research interests include the 2D and 3D movement analysis as well as interventions for running athletes with knee pain. He has presented prior research at the American Society of Biomechanics and the APTA Combined Sections Meeting.
Dr. Huson has over 21 years of experience concentrated in the outpatient orthopedic setting. He is currently the Treasurer and chair of the finance committee of APTA New York. He is also the treasurer and vice-president of the PT First Alliance.
