Trey Botkin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation at the University of North Texas. He earned his B.S. in Psychology, with an Emphasis in Performance, from Grand Canyon University prior to completing his M.S. in Kinesiology at the University of North Texas. His research assistantship in the Behavioral Neuroscience Research Lab focused on effects of exercise on cognition in special populations; other research interests include physiological effects of relaxation on motor skill performance. He currently studies in the RESTORE Lab, focusing on the use of floatation-restricted environmental stimulation therapy's response to training.
