I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Science (2009), a Master's in Exercise Physiology (2011), and a Ph.D. in Exercise Science (2013) from Auburn University. I began working at Berry College as an Assistant Professor in Exercise Science in 2013, earning tenure and promotion to Associate Professor and beginning my term as Chair of the Department of Kinesiology in 2019, along with chairing the Berry College IRB committee.

My professional expertise primarily lies in applied physiology and exercise performance training and testing. I hold CSCS and CPSS certifications and membership in the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and am a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
