Kira Burns is Co-founder and CEO of Gravitrex. Prior to this, she spent more than 10 years working in a variety of medical products categories in commercial roles, including marketing, new product development, sales, and business development (M&A). Her longest experience was at Abbott Laboratories, where she joined in 2007 as part of a management rotational program. She held roles in the Pharmaceutical and Nutrition divisions, and served as Regional Marketing Director, Nutrition, covering Italy and 10 other European countries. She has extensive experience valuing new business opportunities, recommending go-to-market models, and executing launches. Kira received her BA in International Relations from Tufts University; and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
