Jason W. Stoneback, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, Chief of Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Surgery and Director of the multidisciplinary Limb Restoration Program at the University of Colorado Hospital.
Dr. Stoneback’s clinical and research interests focus on the interdisciplinary approach to optimize health outcomes in patients who lose or are at risk of limb loss. He is the director of the Osseointegration Program and Osseointegration Research Consortium (ORC) at the University of Colorado which provides comprehensive multidisciplinary amputee care including screw and press fit techniques. He has always been intrigued and inspired by the connection between form and function and is highly motivated to provide patients with real options – often when all other choices have been exhausted.
