Chungyi (Chung-Yi) Chiu, Ph.D., CRC, is an associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Chiu received her Ph.D. in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from the National Taiwan University. She is the founder and director of the Health Promotion and Rehabilitation Laboratory. Her research interests are in the areas of health promotion for people with chronic illness and disability, psychosocial adjustment, and social participation.
