Kelley C. Wood, PhD, MS, ACSM certified clinical exercise physiologist (CEP) and cancer exercise trainer (CET) is the Manager of Research and Education for ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation, Select Medical. Dr. Wood completed her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science at Appalachian State University in 2015, Master of Science in Health and Exercise Science at Colorado State University (CSU) in 2017, and Ph.D. in Occupation and Rehabilitation Science at CSU in 2021. As a CEP, Dr. Wood has worked in various community-based and academic clinical settings to design and deliver exercise interventions for individuals with cancer and other chronic health conditions. Dr. Wood’s health services research employs mixed method approaches to better understand, then optimize, the implementation, accessibility, and effectiveness of outpatient cancer rehabilitation services. Dr. Wood leads development and dissemination of the Exercise in Cancer Evaluation and Decision Support (EXCEEDS) algorithm.
