Natalie Gilmore is a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory for the NeuroImaging of Coma and Consciousness working with Drs. Edlow and Bodien. Dr. Gilmore is also a speech-language pathologist with experience working with individuals with neurological conditions. After nearly a decade of clinical work, she pursued a doctoral degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Boston University where she primarily worked with young adults with acquired brain injury. Her research interests include developing and testing comprehensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs for individuals with cognitive impairments after TBI and using neuroimaging to understand neural mechanisms of rehabilitation-induced recovery. She also teaches the graduate-level Acquired Cognitive Disorders course in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences department in Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Boston University.
