I am an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. As a clinician, I have expertise in Cancer Rehabilitation. My primary research areas of interest include quality of life and function throughout the cancer continuum as well as the role of exercise in cancer prevention and treatment.
I completed my traditional osteopathic intern year in the Crozer system and my interest in caring for cancer patients grew as I treated additional cancer patients during my physical medicine and rehabilitation residency. I then completed fellowship at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where I focused on cancer and cancer treatment-related musculoskeletal and neurological side effects. After completing fellowship, I served as a Staff Physician at Adventist Healthcare Rehabilitation where I focused on general rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation.
Since joining Johns Hopkins in 2018, I have expanded cancer rehabilitation services at the Baltimore, and National Capital Region. I work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize quality of life and function in cancer survivors. I have established collaborative relationships with practitioners across the Johns Hopkins Network and specialists in cancer rehabilitation across the nation.
