Amanda Wisinger, M.S., is a clinical psychology graduate student at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Chicago Campus and is currently completing her predoctoral internship on the Clinical Neuropsychology track at the University of Florida Health Science Center. In addition to completing neuropsychology rotations in geriatric neuropsychology, movement disorders, and epilepsy/adult brain tumors, she has also received specialized training in neurorehabilitation and polytrauma at UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital. Broadly, Amanda’s research interests include cognitive rehabilitation, neuroplasticity, acquired injuries (i.e., TBI, SCI), and understanding the cognitive and affective changes due to neurodegenerative diseases. Later this fall, after graduating with her doctorate in clinical psychology, Amanda will begin her postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at TIRR Memorial Hermann/UT Health Houston in Houston, TX. Her career goals include board certification in both clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology and providing both assessment and therapy services to medically and neurologically complex adult patients.
