Mary D. Slavin, PT, PhD

Dr. Slavin is a physical therapist with more than thirty years of experience as a clinician, faculty member and researcher. She serves as the Director of Education and Dissemination for the Health Outcomes Unit in the Department of Health Law Policy and Management at the Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Slavin was involved in establishing the Center on Health Services Training and Research (CoHSTAR), which the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research has funded since 2015. She is also a co-investigator for the Learning Health Systems Rehabilitation Research Network (LeaRRN), funded by the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR). Dr. Slavin is engaged in research at Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and serves as Director of Knowledge Translation for the Outcomes for the Rehabilitation Outcomes Center at Spaulding.
