Tammy Richmond, MS OTR/L, FAOTA is a leading expert in clinical rehabilitation and
wellness services with over 35 years of experience. She is a consultant in practice
operations and management, and an entrepreneur and leader in advancing emerging
practice areas, including telehealth. Ms. Richmond’s interest in telehealth began in
2008. Since that time, her name has become synonymous with telerehabilitation as
she is a recognized leader in this emerging area. Ms. Richmond serves as a Co-Chair
of the Telerehabilitation Special Interest Group of the American Telemedicine
Association and as Co-Chair of the Telehealth Task Force at the American Congress of
Rehabilitation Medicine. She has co-authored national and international standards and
guidelines and spearheaded policy initiatives to facilitate telehealth innovation,
practice adoption and reimbursement
