Adit Doza, Ph.D. is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on racial/ethnic disparities in health outcomes such as mortality, morbidity, functional disabilities, and cognitive functioning. Dr. Doza is currently examining the association of Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia with Dr. Elham Mahmoudi on a Department of Defense grant. He has publications in journals such as the Journal of Gerontology: Social Sciences and Alzheimer’s & Dementia.
Dr. Doza is a Health Economist by training and has seven years of teaching . He has taught courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, quantitative methods and business economics. He is an active member of American Economic Association and Gerontological Society of America. Dr. Doza completed his PhD in Health Economics from Wayne State University in Aug 2021.
