Paul Lin is the Lead Statistician for the University of Michigan, Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, Data and Methods Hub. He maintains strong research collaborations with the Departments of Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Urology, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Emergency Medicine. In these collaborations, he serves as the principal statistician and analyst, conducting large claims-based and other clinical registry analysis, including data cleaning and mining, model building and validation, and developing all analyses leading to peer-reviewed manuscripts.He is also responsible for training new and incoming statisticians in the Data and Methods Hub on best practices for analysis and providing appropriate mentorship for them to be both effective and rigorous in their conduct of analytic research partnerships.
