With a BSc in computer science, an MSc degree in Physical therapy, a PhD in Rehabilitation Science and post-doctoral training in Occupational Therapy, I am well versed in initiating and implementing research associated with all aspects of rehabilitation. My research deals with the motor and cognitive aspects of aging, as well as with the sequelae of childhood-onset neurological conditions. I engage my experience with technology to examine the possible added effect of advanced technologies (e.g. functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy) to assessment and intervention in physical rehabilitation for different clinical populations. My recent research interests involve the application of virtual rehabilitation as a tool for assessment and interventions in people with neurological conditions.
