• Founded the music therapy program in September of 2017.
• Provided music therapy services to address function and psychosocial goals for patients
recovering from injuries and/or illnesses requiring inpatient rehabilitation.
• Coordinated treatment with an interdisciplinary staff including physical therapists, occupational
therapists, speech language pathologists, psychologists, nurses, art therapists, and recreation
therapists.
• Established and facilitated internship programs with Drexel University, Immaculata University,
and Temple University.
• Established a music therapy program at the Riverfront outpatient facility which was later
handed off to a former intern and mentee.
• Partnered with the Temple University PhD program to facilitate original research on mood and
relationship outcomes for patient/caregiver dyads participating in music therapy.
• Worked to find and connect creative arts therapists across the Jefferson Enterprise.
• Participated in Magee’s Cancer Care Committee, PFAC, and EPIC Theme Planning Committee
