Meng-Shan Lee, PhD, MT-BC is a board-certified music therapist and assistant professor at Duquesne University and has lectured as an adjunct professor at Temple University. Meng-Shan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy from Tainan National University of the Arts in Music Therapy (Taiwan) in 2010 and her Master of Music Therapy from Temple University in 2017. She also worked at Taipei Veterans General Hospital as a music therapist. She worked extensively with children who have special needs and children in hospital and hospice settings. Her most recent practice has been with adults in neurorehabilitation and caregivers in various settings. Meng-Shan presents frequently at regional and national music therapy conferences and is involved in multiple projects collaborating with multidisciplinary clinicians. She received the prestigious Presser Foundation Graduate Award for her master thesis research (2017), and the AMTA Mid-Atlantic Region Research Award for both her master thesis (2017) and dissertation research (2022).
