I have worked in the field of physical therapy for over 39 years, primarily in the area of neurorehabilitation for adults with acquired disabilities. I have had extensive experience in research and rehabilitation in working with stroke patients. I have been working as a clinical physical therapist in hospitals and medical centers for more than 22 years before I joined the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences (DRS) at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. I am teaching classes in neurorehabilitation, neuroplasticity, motor learning, and gait.
