Diana Chen Wong, OTD, OTR/L, CAPS is a Senior Director of Rehab in post-acute care. After completing graduate coursework in Motor Learning at Columbia University, she became the Director of OT for 15 years on a Certified Brain Injury Unit which was 1 of 3 Certified TBI Programs in New York City. She has shared her knowledge on Brain Injury at State and National Conferences. She completed her post-professional clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, where her research focused on the benefits of exercise for individuals with dementia.
Diana is on the Clinical Adjunct Faculty at New York University’s Occupational Therapy Department and in the Rutgers University’s Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Her teaching includes courses on Physical Disabilities, Neurological Interventions, Geriatrics, and Human Activity/Occupations. She is also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist where she collaborates with home builders and home owners to ensure that homes are safe and accessible to clients with physical and cognitive limitations. An active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and ACRM’s Alzheimer’s Disease Task Force and the Measurement Special Interest Group - Applied Cognition Traumatic Brain Injury Task Force, she hopes to continue her research on mitigating physical and cognitive decline in individuals with neurological and neurodegenerative disorders.
