Dr. Maria Kajankova is an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is a rehabilitation neuropsychologist by training and provides neuropsychological assessment and intervention to individuals with brain injury and other neurological and medical conditions. Her research focuses on the development and evaluation of rehabilitation interventions, and she leads multiple federally-funded randomized controlled trials evaluating the effectiveness of interventions for individuals with brain injury. She is the director of the postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation research and co-director of Mount Sinai's NIDILRR funded ARRT fellowship program.
