Lynne V. Gauthier, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology at The University of Massachusetts Lowell, director of the Neurorecovery and Brain Imaging Laboratory, and co-founder of RxGames. Her research utilizes motion capture gaming and data analytics to make in-home rehabilitation more accessible and to derive personalized insights into motor recovery. She also utilizes advanced neuroimaging approaches to better characterize the brain’s response to various motor interventions. Her laboratory has secured funding from several foundations and institutes, including the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and the American Heart Association (AHA). Dr. Gauthier co-chairs the Neuroplasticity working group for the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and is a member of the Stroke Movement, Neurodegenerative, and Technology groups.
