Flora Nikolaou is a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyprus. She is also a Special Scientist at the Center for Applied Neuroscience (CAN) of University of Cyprus. She completed her master’s degree in Neuroscience with Distinction at the Cyprus School of Molecular Medicine of The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Cyprus.
Her research interests focus in the area of neurological disorders and specifically Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), with a focus on gender issues and specifically intimate partner violence and related brain injuries. She is currently working at CAN in various research programs related with brain health. She has a 6-year experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments as she has been working at the CAN, since 2017.
