Dr. Louis Chow, Ph.D, is the Senior Director of Network Development and Training Institute at Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Mass General Hospital program. He is a clinical psychologist, Assistant in Psychology at MGH, Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and a specialist in treating veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other invisible wounds of war. Dr. Chow was recently appointed under Healy-Driscoll Administration to serve on the Veterans’ Home Council to ensure access to equitable, high quality competent care for Veterans across the well-being and safety of residents of MA-operated Veterans’ Homes.
Dr. Chow has overseen the education and training of thousands of clinicians and health professionals across the country seeking to care for veterans impacted by the invisible wounds of war. He has helped launch clinical programs in Florida and is supporting Home Base’s efforts to expand outreach and clinical care of historically excluded veterans.
