Kristen Arborio is a board certified occupational therapist at Rusk Rehabilitation NYU Langone Health. She is skilled with the assessment and treatment of patients with upper extremity, visual, cognitive and perceptual deficits as a result of a neurological injury. Kristen has a certification in LSVT BIG, which is an evidence-based, intensive amplitude-based training treatment program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, with application to other neurological conditions. She presented case studies to both the NYU Neurology Department and the NY Stroke Study Group regarding the role of occupational therapy in the assessment and treatment of individuals with visual impairments.
