Occupational Therapist, Jyotika Mistry, OTR/L, earned her Bachelors in Occupational Therapy (Cum Laude) from the Medical University of Southern Africa and her Advanced Diploma in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Jyotika is a highly skilled professional with 20+ years of clinical experience in the field of pediatrics. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and has qualifications in Physical Agent Modalities, Kinesio Taping, Neurodevelopmental Therapy and Sensory Integration. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation within a hospital setting, home health, early intervention and public schools, and private clinics. Jyotika worked as a lecturer at the occupational therapy faculty at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa. Jyotika has presented at various workshops and conferences related to neurodevelopmental and sensory dysfunction in children with neurological deficits.
Jyotika currently works at the Center for Advanced Technology and Robotic Rehabilitation at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta using her expertise in the area of neurological rehabilitation to provide her patients with skilled services using state of the art equipment.
