Emily Gilbert, MLIS is an Assistant Professor and Information Services & Liaison Librarian at University of Illinois Chicago. She joined UIC’s Library of the Health Sciences in late 2021. and she supports the research needs of students, faculty, residents, and fellows through instruction, research consultations, and collaboration on curricular needs and evidence synthesis projects. Her own research focuses on anti-fat bias in libraries and how that intersects with other issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
